    Greenwood is a historic freedom colony in Tulsa, one of the most prominent concentrations of African-American businesses in the United States during the early 20th century, it was popularly known as America's "Black Wall Street".It was burned to the ground in the Tulsa race massacre of , in which white residents massacred as many as black residents, injuring hundreds more.   As a versatile art form, fashion illustration is intended to showcase the material, colors, and design of clothing. In addition to acting as a study of style, these drawings also inadvertently offer a glimpse into the history of fashion design and social pop culture of the time, as evident in this collection of delicate and detailed illustrations.
